Hello and welcome to Moutere Downs. We're located in the beautiful Horowhenua, just 100 km north of Wellington, New Zealand's capital city.
At our centre, we have an all-weather riding arena and scenic outdoor riding trails.

We specialise in teaching people to ride and training riding horses. At Moutere Downs, you can:

Learn how to ride or improve your technique
Go trekking around the farm, or to the beach
Learn about horse behaviour and care
Have fun and make new friends
